Man Utd defender Patrice Evra is set to quit Old Trafford at the end of the season when his contract expires. The Frenchman has been linked with a return to his homeland with both Paris St Germain and Monaco interested.
Evra has apparently told United that he wants to move elsewhere and will not sign a new extension at Old Trafford. Sir Alex Ferguson, the club's former manager, had tried to persuade Evra to put pen to paper on a two year contract at the end of last season but the player turned down the offer.
Monaco and PSG are both set to go head to head to complete a transfer for the French international.
