Milan striker Alessandro Matri is set to undergo medical at Fiorentina. Matri only joined Rossoneri last January from Serie A rivals Juventus.
Fiorentina have had a striker shortage after losing both their first choice strikers Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi to Injury.<br />
The news is that the 29 year old will be joining Viola on loan till January and Milan have recalled Andrea Petagna from Sampdoria.<br />
This is what interim coach Mauro Tassotti told the reporters today.<br />
“Matri will undergo the medical tests at Fiorentina,” Tassotti told reporters today.<br />
“Petagna has returned and we have Pazzini back tomorrow. [Milan] are well covered in attack.”<br />
Matri has only scored one league goal in his second spell at the Diavolo.<br />
