Arsenal have apparently received a blow to their chances of securing the services of one of the best upcoming talents in the La Liga.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that the Alvaro Morata is unlikely to move on a short-term deal in the winter transfer window.
The 21-year-old Spanish striker has been constantly linked with a switch to the Gunners over the past few months, with Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan also keen on acquiring his signature.
However, Ancelloti reiterated that the player is happy at Los Blancos, and has not asked for a move.
"Morata hasn't asked to leave. He doesn't want to go." Ancelloti said.
Morata has made 16 appearances for Los Blancos this season, scoring 2 goals in the process.
