Lazio closing in on Serbian striker

05 February 2014 - 14:36

According to reports in Italy, Lazio are close to agreeing a deal for Serbian striker Filip Djordjevic from Ligue 1 outfit Nantes. The capital club tried to reach an agreement in January but failed in their attempts to land him.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Talks between the Biancocelesti and the player are set to resume with the club hoping to land the player who only has 6 months left on his contract in the summer.

Lazio are likely to be without the German striker Miroslav Klose who is also out of contract and want to land his replacement before he leaves.

26-year-old Djordjevic has had an excellent season at Nantes scoring eight league goals and has had his team fighting for European spots.
