Manchester United have apparently been dealt a blow in their pursuit of signing Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal in the summer transfer window.

The Chilean international is understood to have committed his future to the Turin outfit and this is likely to dent the Red Devils chances of landing the player's services, with manager David Moyes rumoured to be allocated with a big transfer kitty to spend in the summer.



The Daily Mail reports that Vidal has agreed a new contract extension with Juventus, which will keep him in Turin until 2018.



The 26-year-old has made 99 appearances for the Serie A giants since his move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011.
