Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot, with a view to a summer transfer offer for his services.
The Mirror claims that the midfielder's future with Les Parisiens is under major doubt beyond the end of the season, after the 18-year-old refused to agree on an extension from his current contract which expires in June 2015.
Rabiot is understood to be keen on playing regular first-football and this could prove to be a stumble block given the star-studded nature of Paris Saint-Germain's squad.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is known as a huge admirer of the French Under-21 international and a bid is likely to be made for the player's services at the end of the season.
League rivals Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Rabiot in recent weeks.
