Manchester United are currently considered as frontrunners to sign highly-rated German star Ilkay Gundogan in the summer.
According to The Daily Star, the Red Devils boss David Moyes is set to have a bid transfer kitty of around £150m in order to boost the club's fragile looking midfield and defensive setup during the summer transfer window.
The report also claims that the Manchester giants will make a summer bid in the region of £25m in order to tempt BVB in letting go of their star midfielder.
However, with United unlikely to play in the Champions League next season, Gundogan could be made to think twice before making the switch, with the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid also interested in his services.
