Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considered front-runners to secure the services of Manchester United’s out of favour striker Javier Hernandez in the summer.
It is understood that the Mexican international has stated of his intent to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, as he aims to play regular first-team football elsewhere.
Â
Hernandez has failed to seal a berth in the starting line-up under manager David Moyes this season, with the likes of Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck all preferred ahead of him in the pecking order.
Â
Latest reports reveal that Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is keen on signing a top-class striker during the summer, and will make a transfer offer to seal a deal for the talented 25-year-old.
Â
Hernandez has notched up 58 goals in 145 appearances for United so far.
