Man Utd defender keen on Serie A switch

31 March 2014 - 23:22

Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra could be heading to the Serie A during the summer transfer window, according to his agent.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao

  • The veteran defender is out of contract at the end of the current season, and will leave the Red Devils having not been offered a new deal.

Evra has been linked with a move to a number of top clubs in recent weeks, and his agent Federico Pastorello has revealed that the French international would prefer a transfer to the Serie A, with the likes of Inter Milan and AS Roma interested in his services.

“Inter and Roma? Speaking with him, I have understood that technically Serie A is a possibility." He said.“He is very attached to Manchester United even if recently things have changed a bit. But Evra still has not taken a final decision.”

Patrice Evra has scored 7 goals in 269 league appearances for United so far.
