Inter Milan eye move for Man City's Javi Garcia

Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a summer transfer offer for Manchester City's out-of-favour midfielder Javi Garcia, according to Goal.com.

The 27-year-old has failed to cement his place in the first-team under manager Manuel Pellegrini this season, with Yaya Toure and Fernandinho preferred for the central midfield partnership.

 

The Spaniard is now keen on a fresh challenge away from the Etihad, and Goal.com reports that he could join the Nerazzurri at the end of the season.

 

City are willing to allow the sale of the former Benfica man for a fee of around £16m.

 

Napoli have also shown interest in signing Garcia in recent weeks.
