Arsenal are reportedly preparing a summer transfer offer for Paris-Saint Germain midfielder Marco Verratti, according to TuttoMercato.

The report claims that the Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen on adding a top-class midfielder in the summer, and considers the talented Italian as an ideal player to fit in to the club's style of play.

 

Adding to this, the North London club are willing to pay a fee of around £17m for the 21-year-old, but it is unclear whether Les Parisiens could offload the player come the summer transfer window.

 

Arsenal are currently 4th in the Premier League.
