PSV Eindhoven director Marcel Brands has apparently dismissed claims of any formal approach from Manchester United for the signing of defender Santiago Arias.
The Red Devils were understood to be readying a summer offer of around £6m for the talented 22-year-old in the summer.
However, Brands has refuted the speculation by revealing that the club have received no bids from any club for the Colombian international's signature.
"We don't know anything about any interest [from United]," Brands said. "No team has made a formal approach for Santiago, but we do know that Arias is an interesting player for a number of teams.
"He is an attacking full-back and a Colombia international who will play at the World Cup for one of the top six countries."
United are currently 7th in the Premier League.
