Atletico Madrid midfield star Koke has reiterated his desire to stay at the Serie A giants beyond the current season.

  • The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a switch to Manchester United since the turn of the year, following a string of top-class performances for Atleti this season.

Spanish newspaper AS claims that Koke has dismissed a move away from the La Liga leaders, and is keen on commiting his future to the club for many more years to come.

“I’m happy and I’m not thinking at all about leaving right now," He said. "I’m very happy here at my home club and I want to stay, and that’s why I have a long-term contract.”

The Red Devils boss David Moyes will now have to shift his attention to the likes of Toni Kroos and William Carvalho, as he aims to strengthen the club's midfield setup for the next campaign.
