Colombian striker linked with Arsenal transfer

11 April 2014 - 23:03

Arsenal could make a move for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca during the summer transfer window, according to an unnamed source.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Gunners boss wants a fantastic value-for-money signing, and is considered to be eyeing for a top-class striker to provide ample support to French international Olivier Giroud for the next season.

The report claims that Colombian international Bacca could well be the perfect choice for the striker's role for the North London club. The talented forward has been in excellent form for Sevilla since his summer switch from Club Brugge and has notched up 20 goals in all competitions until now.

It is understood that the Gunners could land his services this summer for a bargain price of just £6.75million.
