Arsenal boss coy on Loic Remy interest

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the club are focused to end the season on a high rather than thinking about summer additions to the squad.

  • The Gunners have been associated with a switch for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy since the turn of the year.

     

    Remy, who joined Newcastle United on loan has been in good form, having scored 13 goals this term, and has recently revealed of his desire to play European football with a top club next season.

     

    When asked on whether the North London club would make a summer move for Remy, this is what Wenger had to stay, "He is a good striker. But we are focused on the end of the season, not on strikers,"

     

    Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League.
