Chelsea have reportedly made an enquiry over the availabilty of Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.

  • Chelsea want Newcastle star to replace Cucurella?
  • The Blues are understood to be keen on signing a top-class forward in the upcoming transfer window, and The Telegraph claims that the West London club have enquired over the sale of the talented Argentine during their negotiations to sell David Luiz.

The two parties are believed to have agreed on a £48m deal which would allow Luiz to move to the French champions. Adding to this, manager Jose Mourinho is confident of landing Atletico star Diego Costa this summer, and he is keen on adding another proven striker to the club's ranks.

Lavezzi bagged 12 goals for Les Parisiens in the Ligue 1 last season.
