Arsenal plot move for Malaga shot-stopper?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly placed Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero as one of his top targets for the summer, according to The Mirror.

The report claims that the Gunners will move for Caballero as they aim to provide stiff competition to first-choice Wojciech Szczesny before the new season resumes in August.

Caballero has been a consistent performer for the Andalusian outfit in recent years, and placed a vital part in the club's survival race in the La Liga last season.

Arsenal will make a bid in the region of £7m and offer a player on loan in an attempt to seal the deal.
