Napoli manager Rafa Benitez is ready to end Tottenham attacking midfielder Erik Lamela's Spurs hell and make a bid for the Argentinian. The former Roma man has endured a difficult time in England since making a move from Italy last summer.

Lamela has previously hinted that he would like to return to Italy at the next available opportunity and Tottenham are rumoured to have cut their asking price significantly on the midfielder.

The Argentinian international had been left out of his country's national team for the World Cup this summer, thus leaving Lamela considering a move elsewhere to kick start his international ambitions.
