Liverpool have reportedly shown interest in opening talks with Hoffenheim over the transfer of Roberto Firmino.

Reports in the German media has claimed that the Reds have been monitoring the talented midfielder over the past few months, and are now eager to land his signature during the upcoming transfer window.



In addition to this, manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to fly to Germany with the intention of sealing a deal for for the 22-year-old.

Firmino scored 19 goals for Hoffenheim last season.
