Gianluigi Buffon could miss out for Italy against England on Saturday night, having sustained an ankle injury during training.
The 36-year-old was forced out of the training earlier than planned with the ankle injury, but Italy manager Cesare Prandelli is hopeful that he would recover in time to start their Group D opener against the Three Lions.
"It's a minor strain," Prandelli told in a press conference in Manaus. "He's undergoing therapy."
Paris Saint-Germain's Salvatore Sirigu could replace Buffon in the starting line-up, should he not be fit in time.
