Snodgrass linked with a move to Hull City

Norwich City slap £6m price on Robert Snodgrass

14 June 2014 - 11:14

Norwich City are hoping to scare away any potential suitors for Scotland international winger Robert Snodgrass having upped the player's transfer fee to a reported £6 million. Snodgrass had one of the best seasons of his career last year at the Canaries but was unable to secure their top flight status.

  • Hull City are amongst the teams hoping to lure Snodgrass to their club, but the Tigers will have to do battle with several other Premier League teams; with Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers and West Ham all in the race for the 26-year-old's signature. The Daily Mail reports that Hull City are in fact winning the race for the player.

With just one further season remaining on his contract at Carrow Road, the Canaries were hoping to extend Snodgrass' deal. However, the player has his heart set on a move elsewhere and has told his agent to push through a move elsewhere despite Norwich City's hefty valuation.
