Napoli to make move for Tottenham misfit Sandro

Tottenham midfielder Sandro has been linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli. Rafa Benitez - who is on the verge of completing a deal for QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt - also wants to add defensive cover to his squad for the 2014-15 season.

Sandro has struggled since his arrival at White Hart Lane and famously dropped from the Tottenham first team by then manager Tim Sherwood last season for a perceived lack of effort in training.

The midfielder, 25, who arrived at Spurs from Brazilian side Internacional back in 2011; is said to be looking for a move away from England this summer.
