Argentinian centre back Nicolas Otamendi today completed a move from Portuguese side Porto to Valencia. The defender joined for a reported 13 million Euros.
Otamendi has been linked with a whole host of top European sides but has decided to join ambitious La Liga team Valencia, penning a four year contract.
Manchester United were believed to be amongst the teams chasing Otamendi as a replacement for Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, but Los Che have instead snapped up the talented defender and United have switched their attentions to Ezequiel Garay of Zenit St Petersburg.
