Real Madrid has reportedly reached an agreement for Bayern Munich player Toni Kroos. The deal is supposedly worth €25 million including add-ons.
The 24-year old German international still had one year left on his contract but was refusing to sign a new deal with the Bundesliga champions. So, they could have either kept him for another year and let him leave on a free transfer, or sell him now and make profit. Manchester United have been trying to purchase Kroos with reports of David Moyes personally leaving for Munich to scout the midfielder.
Kroos has won three Bundesliga titles and a Champions League title with Bayern Munich and has played an important role in Germany's race in the World Cup. With Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria also eyeing transfers, Kroos would be a valuable addition to the Madrid side.
