Clement Grenier ready to quit Lyon?

Purported Arsenal target Clement Grenier has dropped his strongest hint yet that he will be finally leaving Lyon. Grenier told reporters that he is open to a move away from the Ligue 1 side.

Arsenal have been tracking Grenier for over three years and are now moving closer to agreeing a deal for the coveted youngster. News that the player is open to a move away from Lyon will be welcome news for the Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger.

"You never know what can happen," said Grenier. "I think first I have to prepare myself.

"I’m at Lyon, but I know that economic reasons may change that. If it happens then it will, in any case, be a decision made together."
