Ronald Koeman's busy summer looks set to continue as eyefootball understands that Southampton have made a bid for Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall. Cardiff will sell for a fee of around £8 million.
The keeper has been linked with a host of different teams so far this summer, including FA Cup winners Arsenal, but so far none have yet to have made a firm offer. Until today that is, as Southampton appear to have decided that Marshall is the best option to replace ageing goalkeeper Artur Boruc.
29-year-old Marshall has two years remaining on his contract at the Welsh side.
