Southampton are reportedly set to make a summer offer to land the signature of Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall, The Mail reports.
The report claims that the Saints manager Ronald Koeman is keen on signing a top-class shot-stopper this summer, and considers the Scotland international as one of his prime targets.
In addition to this, the South Coast club would make a bid of around £8m for Marshall, who could be tempted into making a switch back to the English top tier.
However, the Bluebirds value their star keeper at £15m , and this could lure the Saints into making an enquiry for Celtic's Fraser Forster incase their £8m bid is rebuffed.
