Tottenham are reportedly chasing German midfielder Julian Draxler from Schalke.
London club Arsenal were in pursuit of the player last season but in vain as Draxler decided that he didn't want to leave the Bundesliga and so his club rejected the offer.
Now, new Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is ready to make a £17m bid for Draxler to bring him to the Premier League.
Gunners have not yet bid for the player, so it seems like Tottenham are the frontrunners in securing the services of the talented player.
Draxler is currently in Brazil for the World Cup and came on in the 76th minute in Germany's outstanding win over Brazil (7-1) in the semifinals yesterday.
Last year in May, he had extended his contract with Schalke until 2018.
