Liverpool are reportedly preparing a bid in the region of £20m for the services of Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann, according to The Metro.

The talented French international is understood to have rejected a new deal at Sociedad, following interest from a host of top Europeans clubs this summer.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been closely tracking the 21-year-old in recent weeks, while Arsenal have had two bids rejected for the player over the past year.

The Metro reports that the Reds are set to reignite their interest in Griezmann, and will make an initial offer of £20m.

Liverpool have already completed the signing of Rickie Lambert, Emre Can and Adam Lallana this summer.
