Didier Drogba set for Chelsea comeback?

Chelsea are apparently lining up a move to re-sign Legendary striker Didier Drogba this summer, according to The Star.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The veteran striker is currently a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Turkish giants Galatasaray last month.

    Drogba  was a cult-hero during his time with the Blues, having notched up an excellent tally of 157 goals in 341 games for the club.

    The Star claims that manager Jose Mourinho is keen on a reunion with the Ivory Coast international, and will offer him with a player-coach role in the next few days.

    Besiktas have also shown interest in signing Drogba.
