Belgium international forward Romelu Lukaku has been told by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho that he will have a second chance at the Blues this coming season. Lukaku had spent two seasons out on loan at West Brom and Everton respectively.
Despite a successful spell at Everton and the Toffees' attempts to make a permanent move for Lukaku this summer, Chelsea have decided to keep hold of the burly forward and utilise him as a backup for new signing Diego Costa.
Lukaku is said to be disappointed that Chelsea have decided not to sell as the player feels regular first team football is most important for his career at this stage.
Lukaku has two years remaining on his Chelsea deal.
