Italian giants AC Milan have been in touch with Arsenal regarding the availability of Costa Rica international forward Joel Campbell. The Gunners' coach Arsene Wenger is ready to let Campbell leave the Emirates for yet another temporary spell.
Sunderland were also amongst the teams to have spoken with the Gunners regarding Campbell, but Arsene Wenger is to use the interest in the striker from this summer's World Cup to receive the largest possible fee.
AC Milan had scouts monitoring Campbell at this summer's World Cup and are desperate to secure a deal for the striker in time for the new Serie A campaign.
