Tottenham have made a bid for right back Miguel Lopes. The Sporting Lisbon defender has been linked with a transfer to White Hart Lane this week and it is understood Spurs have beaten Benfica to the player's coveted signature.
The 27-year-old looks set to be Mauricio Pochettino's next arrival at White Hart Lane and it is likely that Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez will follow him shortly afterward. The versatile player will cost Spurs about 4.5 million euros.
Even though Tottenham have plenty of cover in the full back department, Tottenham are hoping to secure yet another defender this transfer window.
