The Netherlands international has been the subject of transfer speculation ever since his return from the World Cup finals in Brazil, where he scored twice in three group games.

However, Goal.com suggests that Spurs are mulling over a £15m bid for the Eredivisie youngster, who is said to be keen on a switch to the English top tier.
