Liverpool renew interest in Wolfsburg midfielder

08 August 2014 - 23:55

Liverpool are reportedly set to make a fresh move for highly-rated midfielder Junior Milanda from Wolfsburg this summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 19-year-old joined the Bundesliga outfit from Belgium minnows Zulte Waregem for €1.8 million last summer, in spite of interest shown from the Reds.

However, the Reds scouts have been keeping tracking of the player's performances at Zulte, as manager Brendan Rodgers seemingly saw something in him.

According to The Mirror, the Merseyside giants could seal for the Belgian youngster on a bargain fee of around £5m this summer.

Liverpool have also sealed a deal for Sevilla's Alberto Moreno, who will join the club after the Super Cup.
