Everton and Chelsea have reached an accord in discussions for a Toffees move for Ghanaian international Christian Atsu. The talented winger had been wanted by several other teams but wants to garner first team experience at a Premier League side.
There are high hopes for Atsu at Chelsea, with the club manager Jose Mourinho particularly excited about Atsu's potential.
However, for the time being, Chelsea have decided that Atsu can transfer for a short period to Goodison Park and hope that the blossoming career of this youngster will continue to hold true with a loan deal to Everton. Mourinho hopes that the winger will enjoy a similar success to Romelu Lukaku who also joined the club on loan last season.
