Arsenal are understood to be in talks with Galatasaray over the sale of German star Lukas Podolski this summer.
Podolski joined the Gunners from Cologne in the summer of 2012, and has a good first season at the club. However, he failed to cement his place in the first-team during the second, following the increase in competition for places within the squad.
Latest reports reveal that Gala are keen on signing the World Cup winner, in order to help deal with the loss of Didier Drogba, who joined Chelsea on a free earlier this summer.
It is believed that the Gunners would demand a fee in the region of £10m for the prospective deal.
