Gerard Deulofeu to join Sevilla on loan

Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu will spend the upcoming La Liga campaign playing on loan at Sevilla. The striker spent last campaign in England, playing for Everton.

Deulofeu, who is one of Europe's top upcoming attacking prospects, has apparently joined Sevilla as part compensation for the transfer of Ivan Rakitic to Barca.

There are high hopes for Deulofeu at the Nou Camp though, so Sevilla have not been given the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
