Atletico Madrid are apparently keen on sealing a deal for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger this summer, according to The Sun.
The 29-year-old has failed to cement his place in the first-team line up under manager Brendan Rodgers over the past season mainly due to injuries.
A report from the Sun claims that the Reds are ready to cash in on his services, with the Spanish champions open to tabling an offer for the Dane before the transfer deadline.
Agger had been previously linked with a switch to Barcelona, before they pursued an alternative option in Thomas Vermaelen.
