Artur Boruc to swap Southampton for Cagliari

Artur Boruc is set for a move to Italian side Cagliari. The Polish international goalkeeper will quit Southampton after losing the number 1 jersey at St Mary\'s.

Fraser Forster\'s arrival from Celtic means that Boruc is likely to play just a bit part role at Southampton this season and thus Ronald Koeman has told the keeper he is free to leave the south coast side.

Cagliari have tabled a bid for the player, believed to be in the region of around 500,000 pounds. It is expected that Boruc will leave the Saints before the end of the transfer window.
