The Red Devils have been constantly linked with a move for the Juventus star this summer, with manager Louis van Gaal keen on bolstering his midfield setup.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, the Red Devils have had their final bid of around £34.2m rebuffed by the Serie A outfit. The report adds that Juve have refused United's approach for their star asset.

United have completed the signing of Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Angel di Maria so far this summer.
