Arsenal are set to hold talks with AS Monaco over the potential transfer of Radamel Falcao to the club, according to a report.
Falcao has been associated with a switch away from Ligue 1 in recent weeks, with the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid believed to be interested in his services.
However, Liverpool have cooled down their pursuit following the capture of Mario Balotelli from AC Milan earlier this week.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Gunners, who have been dented by the injury to star striker Olivier Giroud, are ready to start negotiations with Falcao's agent Jorge Mendes and Monaco over the potential transfer.
“#Arsenal, #Juve and #RealMadrid are very interested in Radamel #Falcao. Tomorrow in Montecarlo they’ll meet #Monaco and Jorge #Mendes. #AFC” He was quoted on the Metro.
