    Wigan 1-2 Bolton

This could be the game that kickstarts Bolton's season. Nicolas Anelka could be the main man on the big day and if Wigan demonstrate they are capable of disabling Bolton's attack they may stand a chance. However, Anelka knows rising to the challenge in this one will be hugly important as he looks for a move away in January and a few potential suitors are eyeing his services.

    Goalscorer: Nicolas Anelka
