Dutch international defender Daley Blind has completed a transfer to Man Utd this afternoon. The centre back will sign a four year contract at Old Trafford in a deal worth 15 million euros.
Ajax and Manchester United have been locked in talks for over three weeks and only today a deal has finally been agreed that will see the 24-year-old become United's first choice centre back.
The deal completes a reunion with former Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal, who coached Blind at the World Cup.
Ajax director of football Marc Overmars had been discussing a transfer fee for Blind for some time and brokered a deal for the departure of the versatile player.
Blind played over 100 times for the Amsterdam side.
