Lucas Neill has backed Blackburn boss Mark Hughes to become the successor for Alex Ferguson in charge at Man Utd. The West Ham defender believes that leaving Blackburn under Hughes was a hard thing to do - and that Hughes deserves the job.
Neill said: âThe hardest thing was to leave the good set-up at Blackburn.
âIâm not surprised how well Mark and the lads are doing and Iâm sure that heâs going to go on and be very successful.
âNo disrespect to Rovers but Mark Hughes has the potential to coach Manchester United. Thereâs no end to what he could do because he gets his message across so well.â
