England midfielder Jordan Henderson has been injured whilst on international duty. In preparation for the Euro 2016 game with Switzerland, the defensive midfielder has picked up a knock.

During training at St Jakob Park, the player was forced to pull out of training after hurting his ankle, and joins fellow Liverpool man Daniel Sturridge on the sidelines.

The 24-year-old is now set to miss the game against Switzerland.
