Liverpool's Emre Can ruled out for six weeks

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that German midfielder Emre Can could miss up to six weeks of first-team action due to an ankle injury suffered while on international duty.

    The news will be shocking for Liverpool fans, as they are already without star striker Daniel Sturridge through injury.

    In addition to this, Rodgers also confirmed that Joe Allen could also be a casualty, as he has ankle issue that incurred during Wales' 2-1 win over Andorra on an artificial pitch.
