The Portuguese international recently expressed his desire to make a return to his former club Manchester United, and this has elevated speculation that he could make a Premier League comeback next season.

Recent reports claimed that Chelsea, manager by former Real boss Jose Mourinho could have something to say on the proceedings, with the Ballon d'Or winner having a good relationship with the Portuguese manager during their time at the Bernabeu.

However, Mourinho has now told the media to forget about the club's link with the former Manchester United star.
