The Slovakian midfielder has been a top performer for the Naples outfit in recent seasons, and is believed to be on the radar of several high profile clubs in Europe.

According to The Star, Hamsik has refused to rule out a switch away from Napoli, with United boss Louis van Gaal understood to be interested in his services.

The 27-year-old scored six goals in 37 games for Napoli last season.
