Sunderland linked with Kurt Zouma loan

Gus Poyet, the Sunderland manager, has been in contact with Chelsea regarding a January loan move for defender Kurt Zouma. The French defender is seeking regular top flight experience.

So far Zouma has found opportunities limited at Stamford Bridge, as he remains behind first choice duo John Terry and Gary Cahill. Sunderland are readying a loan move for Zouma and are confident a deal can be agreed for the former Saint Etienne man in the new year.
